The Aura of Alfred Rummelsburg shows an upstanding man who shows much pride. Alfred Rummelsburg is Degard’s great uncle and from the series Finding Ancestors Lost in the Holocaust. Aura of Alfred Rummelsburg is a companion painting to Aura of Margot Rummelsburg. They were man and wife and both were murdered on the same day, 17th September 1943 in Auschwitz.
These wonderful people, set in an Arcadian landscape, are now brought back into being with these unique exquisite spirit portrait paintings by Degard.
